Super excited to share the news that PAC was chosen out of 300+ entries to receive the Nearpod VR Grant.
What is Nearpod?
Nearpod is an interactive presentation and assessment tool that can be used to achieve amazing student engagement within the classroom.

How did we get the grant?
I came across the grant application on Twitter. I pursued the link and got excited about the possibilities this opportunity would afford our district.
The requirements for the grant - besides your typical standard information - create a short video demonstrating why your district wants the grant and write a more detailed essay explaining why your district should receive the grant.
I called on some of our students to help me create our video. They did an awesome job.
As far as the essay, I just spoke from the heart as to why our students deserve to "see the world."
